Chapter Requirements:
Each Chapter will submit three name choices to the National Headquarters prior to organization for approval. Names will be allocated on a first come first served basis – duplicates are allowed but separated by geographical location. Once approved, each Chapter will be assigned a number and an official Charter Document from the National Headquarters.
Chapter Governance: Each chapter is responsible for its own governance, including officer elections, meeting times and frequency, and types of training to promote Chapter autonomy. Each chapter will function independently and without oversight from the National Headquarters. To ensure resilience, we are creating a decentralized organization where each chapter operates independently. This way, any attack on central leadership or headquarters will not weaken the organization, as every chapter can continue to thrive on its own.
The only requirement from each chapter to the national headquarters is a monthly report containing only the number of members. The national headquarters does not request or collect members’ names, occupations, or any personal or contact information.
The formation of a Chapter requires only one person to initiate the process. The national headquarters initially requires contact information for one individual, including their first name, email address, city, and zip code. This email address must be a reliable means of receiving important updates from the national headquarters. Once the Chapter formation is approved, a second contact person will be required for failsafe and backup communications.
